AI for Yoga Educators and Curriculum Design

In this Capstone Project, I developed a module for Luminous Yoga School, an online institution offering 200- and 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) certifications and continuing education for yoga educators. While experienced in yoga instruction, faculty members often lack formal instructional design training and have expressed interest in integrating AI tools, such as ChatGPT, Claude AI, and Perplexity, into their curriculum development. However, many lack confidence in applying these tools ethically and effectively, particularly in a manner that respects the lineage and voice central to yoga teaching.
